2025 marked the 100th anniversary of the photobooth by Anatol Josepho in New York City in 1925. To celebrate the centenary, Autofoto comissioned me to create a photo series that built on my fascination with using the old analogue booths as street-side studios for still life photography. Documenting a range of everyday objects with the figure of 100 in mind, I created a number of still images and animations in the booth using the four shot format of the machine as miniature film reels for motion.

In my printmaking practice I have been exploring Risograph as a technique for image making, photographic reproduction and motion through the use of an animation technique invented by graphic designer Kelli Anderson wherein frames are printed with the machine and scanned back in.

The Things We Leave Behind is a photobook and portable exhibition of a series of still life photographs documenting found compositions of discarded and misplaced objects. Primarily studies of colour, translated into multilayered Risograph prints, this image series celebrates a beauty found in the banal and commonplace – reframing what we may see as ‘worthy’ objects for still life images.

An editorial project in homage to French film director Agnès Varda. Fondly known as ‘Dame Patate’ (potato lady) in reference to her feature length documentary The Gleaners and I where she explores her longtime fascination with tubers, this publication acts as a printed archive of all of the directors work surrounding her famous embelem: the heart-shaped potato.

I'll Be Your Mirror is an ongoing performance piece and series of self portraits in which I have reimagined the photobooth lens as my bathroom mirror. The camera bears witness to mundane daily routines as I use the privacy of the curtain to create a domestic space of my own, cut off from passersby on the street.
